Our tutors have all scored above 99% in all of the exams that they teach. No other test prep company based in Pittsburgh has the high qualifications of our individual tutors.
Even so, our tutors worked diligently to achieve their success. Standardized exams were hard, but we worked even harder to attain our goals. In fact, our instructors didn’t score 99% on their first try. It took us many tries to get there.

- Paid Handsomely: We’re not sure how this all started, but some test prep companies emphasize the fact that their tutors are paid at $100/hr or more. As a student, this should be disconcerting. For one, it means that the courses will be more expensive for you. Two, higher pay rate does not necessarily equate to better instruction. However, suffice it to say that our tutors all make a six-figure equivalent hourly salary.

Our textbooks are content-rich, covers all the aspects of fundamental concepts, and provides rich detail in the explanations of both correct and incorrect answers. Furthermore, we emphasize learning versus memorization.
Standardized exams are much too difficult to succeed by just memorizing a few tricks. There is no magic pill that will instantaneously help you score higher.
Every one of our textbooks covers every single aspect of the exam content meticulously. We pick apart the underlying concept, and develop this further into advanced question types that will lead you to your highest possible score on exam day.

We believe that in the test preparation world, GUARANTEES ARE A SCAM. No one can guarantee success, or an average score of 90%, or any individual’s success. Don’t be fooled into paying thousands of dollars into various different test prep companies just because they “guarantee” success.

Meridian Tutoring is a legitimate educational company fully licensed and registered in the State of Pennsylvania.
Take a brief look at history:
- Every year there are scandals where students cheat, lie, or are scammed by illicit companies (check out www.scoretop.com for the latest entrant, or here for Harvard’s scandal a couple of years ago.)
- Meridian Tutoring is a legal company, with fair licensing and registration in the state of PA to educate and teach our students as a Tutoring Company.
- We do not provide false hopes, “real” GMAT questions, or illegal activities that will jeopardize your applicant status.
- Be very careful who you choose to study for your SAT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT exams, especially online-based companies. A brash act of joining a shady online test prep company can potentially get you barred for life to an academic institution of your dreams.
Meridian Tutoring is not endorsed or licensed or promoted by any of the educational companies that own the rights and use of the SAT, GRE, GMAT or LSAT. If we choose to use their material in our curriculum, it is because we have obtained all the necessary rights to do so through our legal department.
